June 20, 2026 Results

Thank you to all the participants for coming out for this first team event of 2026. It was a great success.

My apologies for the very unimaginative team names. I will try to do better for the next event.

Here are the results.

Round Robin results:

We had very close games during the round robin with scores often being 15-14 and 15-13. There were also a couple of tie breakers needed and these were exciting for all.

1st - Team Pete - Pete, Keith, Lianne, Sherry

2nd - Team Jean - Jean, Julia, Bernard, Kuba

3rd - Team Ginette - Ginette, Mike, Pauline, John

4th - Team Bud - Bud, Bob, Linda, Karen

For the finals, the 3rd and 4th place teams played for third place, and the 1st and 2nd place teams played for gold and silver. There were also very close games with scores often being 25-20 and 25-22, respectively.

Register soon for our next TEAM event on Saturday, July 18. Doors open at 9 and play begins around 10 am. The event should be done by around 1-2 pm.

4 teams maximum with gender parity: 8 women and 8 men. If the demand is great then we may add another team.
