Program Details

Halifax Pickleball Club Youth Recreational League -- Sundays November 15 to December 13 and January 17 to 31, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

This recreational league is open to players aged 10 to 16 (as of December 31) who have completed our Learn to Play program (or the equivalent beginner program elsewhere). Players will revolve through 3 courts as the night progresses with a chance to play with different people over the course of each session and from week to week. Our volunteer coaches will provide support and direction but the focus will be on play.

Bring your paddle, water, and non-marking indoor shoes (shoes MUST be changed on entry). Eye protection is highly recommended. Our facility dress code requires loose fitting clothing that covers from shoulders to fully past the knees. And we ask players to avoid orange and neon/fluorescent clothing.

Only participants will be permitted in the gym -- family members are welcome to watch from the upstairs viewing area.

Registration Fees

Registration for this 8 week league is $70 (including all transaction fees). 

Participation is open to ages 10 through 16 (based on their age on December 31st). 

Initially all participants will be put on a waiting list -- once we confirm there are enough participants to run this program we will finalize registrations and collect fees -- at that point participants will need to join the Halifax Pickleball Club to complete their registration (we will do this after September 1st as new memberships from September onward cover the following year).
