Renewing Club Memberships

Please remember that by having your Kenora Pickleball Club membership fees paid by December 31 of each year, you could benefit from the Injury and Liability Insurance coverages through Pickleball Canada.   See our link at top of page called Member Benefits for further information.

Also, note that if your membership is not paid up by March 31 of each year, you will no longer receive informative emails from our club.

Winter Schedule

The Kenora Pickleball Club is now playing indoors at Saint John Paul school. Due to the lack of court space this fall/winter, we will not be able to offer the Learn To Play program. Please contact us next spring once we are back playing outdoors and have lots of room.

Monday 630pm to 930pm - Advanced Play - 3.5 medal winners and above

Wednesday 630pm to 930pm - 3.0 to 3.5 Novice players welcome

Saturday 9am to 1pm - Two groups 9 to 11 and 11 to 1 - Emails sent weekly for times for Advanced and Rec Play

Sunday Ladder 9am to 1pm - weekly sign up kpcwinterladder@gmail.com capped at 30 players. Play is in two groups at 9 and 11 am. Sign up deadline is Friday at 7pm for following Sunday.

1) April 9-12, 2024​ - Dakota Community Centre Spring Smash Tournament

Registration opens approx. February 5th. Limited to 14 teams per category/level 

-April 9 - Novice Men’s, Women’s & Mixed

-April 10 - Men’s 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

-April 11 - Mixed 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

-April 12 - Women’s 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

Guide to choosing your level:

Level 2.5 (2.5 – 2.49) – For low to medium intermediate players
Level 3.0 (3.0 – 3.49) – For higher intermediate / lower advanced players
Level 3.5 (3.5 – 3.99) – For middle advanced players
Level 4.0 (4.0+) – for advanced players

**NOTE: To participate in the Canada 55+ Games, players will first have to qualify in their respective Provincial 55+ Games. However, beginning in 2024, the age categories for the Pickleball Event at the Canada 55+ Games will be limited to two age categories: 55+ and 65+. However, the Manitoba 55+ Games will continue to offer age groups in 5 year increments. (55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+). If players wish to try to qualify to play in the Canada 55+ Games, they must enter one of the two age categories that Canada 55+ Games recognizes (55+ or 65+) in the 2024 Manitoba 55+ Games.
