Community Conversation on Pickleball
Do you want to hear what VRPA has done in the past few years? Do you want a 12-court dedicated pickleball facility soon? We invite you to attend this community conversation, moderated by VRPA vice-president, Tessa Graham.
When? Wednesday October 2nd. Where? First Met Hall. 932 Balmoral Road. Time? 7-9pm.
Format – panelists include President, VRPA, City of Victoria Councillor Jeremy Caradonna, Saanich Councillor Mena Westhaver, Chris White, IPOP, Vancouver pickleball facility developer, Brad Watson, President, SPPA and Barry Petrachenko, Exec Dir, PCO.
The panelists will take 5 questions that have been previously submitted. Submit your question to vicrpba@gmail.com. 4 questions will be taken from the floor.
From the District of Saanich. We invite you to come to our Open House on Tuesday, September 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at Gordon Head Recreation Centre, 4100 Lambrick Park Way (see attached).
We will be presenting our near and long-term plans for outdoor pickleball and tennis in Saanich Parks, as well as the considerations that guided them. Saanich staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.
We want your feedback - a questionnaire, along with presentation materials, will be available at Saanich.ca/pickleball on September 25, the questionnaire will close on October 6.
