Registration fee $75 , Event fee $15 (per event) **Players are asked to bring 1-2 non-perishable food items to be collected at the Check-in Table for the Delta Food Bank or a cash donation.

🏆 1st Place – $500 per team 🥈 2nd Place – $300 per team 🥉 3rd Place – $200 per team
A minimum of six teams must register in each money event for it to proceed. If fewer than six teams are registered by June 1, 2026, the tournament committee will contact affected players with two options:
• Withdraw and receive a full refund, or
• Transfer to a 4.0 or 4.5+ event (with fewer teams and no prize money). If this option is chosen, a refund of $60 will be given for the difference in the event fee.
IMPORTANT DATES Early registration for Delta Pickleball Association members in good standing starts on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. To be added to the early registration list, DPA members must email dashnsmashdesk@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 22, with a request to be included. Late requests will not be accepted.

With every successful event it is vitally important that we have support from our Pickleball Community in terms of Volunteers. We will be posting requirements by day June 11-14th on Play Time scheduler as of April 15. Please sign up to continue the trend of making this tournament a great success!
DPA Dream Maker Round Robin - National Pickleball Day - August 9, 2025
On August 9, 2025, Canadian National Pickleball Day, the Delta Pickleball Association hosted their inaugural Dream Maker Round Robin fun tournament at our newly renovated Cromie Park Pickleball courts in Delta, BC. Almost 140 players signed up to play in an “Major League Pickleball” style tournament. We believe that it may be the largest National Pickleball Day event in Canada!
The tournament committee came up with a format of six players on each team with two (2) players each representing a different skill level. Teams were selected and placed into pools where players represented their teams against similar skilled players on another team. This was especially important for new 2.0-3.0 players and others who may have never played in a tournament. A round robin format was used within each pool with more than 8 games played per team.
Afterwards, all players and volunteers enjoyed a lunch and a “folding chair” social. Proceeds of the tournament fees ($1,260) were donated to the Delta Community Animal Shelter towards the support of more than 800 animals each year.
The Delta Pickleball Association is one of Canada’s largest associations with more than 900 active members. We have three major goals: First, to provide a fun and social environment for people to play pickleball; second, to support the growth of pickleball in our community by providing lessons and player development to our newer members; and third, to manage our relationships with all levels of government to advocate for our sport.

DPA Tsawwassen Sun Festival Tournament - August 4, 2024
This year, DPA is co-hosted this successful community fun tournament at Dennison Park as part of the annual Tsawwassen Sun Festival- full details to follow.
Dash 'n Smash Tournament - May 31 to June 2, 2024 Our second annual sanctioned tournament was held again this year at Chalmer's Park in North Delta. We had a very successful Friday, completing the men's and women's doubles sessions. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and events planned for Saturday and Sunday had to be cancelled. The men's 4.5 was so close, it took 4 games and almost 2 hours to complete.
Special thanks to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make it happen.
We had 190 players complete 9 events. Winners were:

PADDLES for PADS Charity Tournament - Saturday, April 20, 2024
Pickleball BC invited all pickleball communities and clubs to host their own charity event with proceeds going to the Pacific Assistance Dogs (PADS). DPA were proud to be part of this charity event and held a very successful tournament raising over $7,500 for PADS. Thanks to all who attend, organized, donated prizes, and participated in our prize draws.
