Build a Legacy
The Invermere Pickleball Club (IPBC), in partnership with the District of Invermere, is building an eight-court, tournament-quality pickleball facility that will serve residents and visitors for generations. This project will create a welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can connect, stay active, compete, and build community. Local officials and IPBC members gathered together on July 21, 2026 for a groundbreaking ceremony. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2027.

Strengthen Our Community
The Pynelogs Pickleball Courts will be an eight court outdoor pickleball facility adjacent to the Pynelogs Rotary Ball Park. The site is on District-owned land. Two of the courts will be designed for wheelchair accessibility and adaptive pickleball. This project will create a welcoming, accessible recreation space that supports healthy living and community connection in the Columbia Valley.
Pickleball continues to be one of Canada’s fastest-growing sports, enjoyed by players of all ages and abilities. The new courts will serve residents, visitors, youth programs, tournaments, and community events for many years to come. The facility is expected to serve as a regional pickleball hub supporting league play, tournaments, and community programming throughout the season.
We invite local businesses, organizations, and community members to partner with us in creating this recreational and community asset. Sponsors will be recognized as key contributors to a highly visible community facility expected to serve thousands of players and spectators annually.

Community Reach and Visibility
The Invermere Pickleball Club continues to grow rapidly and is one of the most active recreation groups in the region.

- 4,200+ player visits recorded during the 2025 season

- Regular weekly programming throughout the season
- Regional tournament participation from across the Columbia Valley, British Columbia and Alberta
- A central location beside Pynelogs Rotary Ball Park with strong community visibility
Major sponsorship recognition opportunities, including court naming, are offered for a 10 year recognition term. Additional naming opportunities are available throughout the facility, including courts, benches, and other site features. Sponsors will receive recognition through a combination of on-site signage, digital visibility, membership communications, and special events. Recognition opportunities are limited and will be confirmed on a first-commitment basis.

Funding Campaign
The total project cost is expected to be $660,000.
With generous support from the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI), and the Regional District of East Kootenay Resident Directed (RDEK ReDi) Grants program, the project has secured $155,000 in initial funding. The Invermere Pickleball Club has also committed $40,000, bringing total funding secured to date to $195,000.
We’re seeking donations to help raise the final $465,000 needed to finish the project. IPBC is raising the funds to complete the project with support from individuals, businesses, community grant programs, and other organizations.
Donations to the Pynelogs Pickleball Courts Project may be eligible for a charitable donation receipt issued by the District of Invermere, in accordance with District policies and Canada Revenue Agency requirements. Please contact us to discuss contribution options and receipt eligibility.
