We’re here to help you get started!

Whether you have never picked up a paddle or you’re just getting to know the Delta pickleball

scene, this orientation is designed for you. Join us to learn the basics, meet fellow players, and

feel confident stepping onto the court.

What to Expect:

• Welcome from the Delta Pickleball Association (DPA)
• Introduction to Pickleball: Rules, scoring, and basic techniques
• Court Etiquette & Gear Tips: What to bring and how to rotate in
• How to Get Involved: Open play, club sessions, Play Time Scheduler and more
• Live Play Time: Get on the court and try it out with other beginners!

Come learn, play, and connect with others who are just starting out—we're excited to have you in the DPA community!

• Bring your paddle if you have one! If necessary, we will have some available for borrowing.
• Wear court shoes and comfortable athletic wear
• Bring a container of water for hydration.

• When: Sunday April 13 th at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
• Based on demand, we will add sessions if needed to meet everyone’s needs.

Ladder Play

Ladder play started April 1. An annual ‘Season’s Pass’ replaces the previous ‘pay as you play’ payment method. New playing members must create a free Pickleball Brackets account in order to play.  Members who played last year do not need to sign up again on Pickleball Brackets. Going on vacation? No problem. You do not need to play every week.
Be sure to send etransfer of $20, one week before you plan to play your first game, to treasurer@deltapickleball.org. We recommend you save your receipt for the etransfer and throw it in your bag. The $20 is the fee for the Ladder 2024 season’s pass.
