We’re here to help you get started!
Whether you have never picked up a paddle or you’re just getting to know the Delta pickleball
scene, this orientation is designed for you. Join us to learn the basics, meet fellow players, and
feel confident stepping onto the court.
What to Expect:
- Welcome from the Delta Pickleball Association (DPA)
- Introduction to Pickleball: Rules, scoring, and basic techniques
- Court Etiquette & Gear Tips: What to bring and how to rotate in
- How to Get Involved: Open play, club sessions, Play Time Scheduler and more
- Live Play Time: Get on the court and try it out with other beginners!
Come learn, play, and connect with others who are just starting out—we're excited to have you in the DPA community!
- Bring your paddle if you have one! If necessary, we will have some available for borrowing.
- Wear court shoes and comfortable athletic wear
- Bring a container of water for hydration.
