Shoe tag Policy & Tips
MPC Shoe Tag – Members Policy & Information (2026)
If you have already received an MPC shoe tag, you will have agreed to the policy outlined below. Possession of an MPC shoe tag confirms your agreement to this policy.
SHOE TAG 2026 POLICY
Shoe tags remain the property of MPC and are non-transferable.
By signing for your own or someone else’s MPC shoe tag, you and the tag holder agree to the following Shoe Tag Rules:
Visibility
I will wear my MPC shoe tag on my shoe, pinned to my clothing, or on a bracelet so it is clearly visible to court hosts and other members.
Non-transferability
I understand that the tag is the property of MPC and must be returned upon request. I will not share, lend, transfer, or sell my MPC shoe tag to anyone.
Court Access
I will leave the courts if I do not have my current MPC shoe tag with me.
Respect for Volunteers
I will show respect to court hosts when they enforce this or any other MPC policy.
Members must read and acknowledge the Shoe Tag Rules before receiving their tag.
Shoe Tag Tips
To help ensure smooth and fair play for all members, please keep the following in mind:
- Visibility is required at all times
MPC member shoe tags must be worn and clearly visible during play at all times during MPC club hours. Tags may be worn on your shoe, pinned to your shirt, or worn on a bracelet. - Tag distribution
Shoe tags are distributed by court hosts during regularly hosted open play sessions throughout the month of May. - Using one tag with multiple shoes
If you play with more than one pair of shoes, you do not need multiple tags.
Watch the short video below for an easy way to use one shoe tag across multiple pairs of shoes.

What if I lost my tag?
If you have lost your tag, you can request a replacement tag for $10 via an e-transfer to cfo@markhampickleballclub.ca. If the tag is found, it must be returned to a Court Host during club time.
IMPORTANT: Any person found wearing a lost or stolen tag is banned from the club indefinitely. Similarly if it is found that a missing tag was given by a member to another member, both members will be banned. There will be no exceptions.
