ABOUT US

Markham Pickleball Club (MPC), a non-profit organization of pickleball enthusiasts, began in 2021 with members playing at The Best Parking Lot Pickleball Courts in Canada.

On May 8th 2023, MPC members welcomed 8 brand new dedicated Outdoor Pickleball courts at Cornell Community Park (corner of Cornell Centre Blvd and Riverlands Ave). Our courts were so popular that we saw members and their guests joining from near and far!

It was an amazing first year on these beautiful courts. We hosted daily open play, advanced play nights, Ladder leagues and offered numerous Learn 2 Play clinics to introduce new players to our sport. We also offered many Play Better Clinics to help both members and non-members that were interested in improving their level of play as well as specialized clinics to help players enhance their game strategies. We held our first club tournament, a fun charity tournament and fun holiday events! We look forward to planning more fun events in 2024!
