PEI Pickleball ÎPÉ 2025 Provincial Championships
Registration is now open for the PEI Pickleball ÎPÉ 2025 Provincial Championships
Tournament dates are July 18th, 19th, and 20th 2025.
You must have a Pickleball.com Account to sign up for this tournament.
If this is the first time you will participate in a tournament which uses the Pickleball Tournaments (Formerly Pickleball Brackets) system, you must first set up a profile on Pickleball.com. This is a free account that will keep track of all you statistics. (And so much more)
You can go to Pickleball.com to set up your account. When you set up your account give careful thought to the skill levels you recorded in your Player Profile. These skill levels plus .250 will be the starting point for your tournament rating calculation.

Once you account is set up click on the Tournaments Tab and search for our tournament. (You can use PEI as a search key)
This is a sanctioned tournament, so if you are currently not a member of Pickleball Canada, you must take out/renew your membership before your registration will be considered complete.
CALL FOR OFFICIALS
We are pleased to announce that Daniel Zhang has successfully completed the Level 1 Officiate training is the first credentialed Referee in Pickleball on PEI.
Daniel will be Officiating at the PEI PICKLEBALL IPE Provincial Championships in Charlottetown on July 18 – 20.
Daniel is willing to answer questions about taking the Officiating Program. The PEI PICKLEBALL ÎPÉ AGM will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 7:00 pm
Location: Cornwall Curling Club & Civic Centre, 29 Cornwall Rd, Cornwall. PE C0A
All PEI PICKLEBALL ÎPÉ members are encouraged to attend. PEI PICKLEBALL ÎPÉ is seeking volunteers to fill vacant positions on the Board. If you are interested in applying for a position on the Board, please email the nominating committee at the following email address peipickleballipe@gmail.com to express your interest and list your skills and strengths.
This is a volunteer Board, and each Board member is expected to serve on a committee. Serving on the Board is a busy role but it is rewarding to help grow the sport of Pickleball on Prince Edward Island.

PEI PICKLEBALL ÎPÉ is pleased to announce that VN Pickleball Club, in Charlottetown, is the most recent club to become affiliated with PEI Prince Edward Island ÎPÉ.

COACHES IN PEI SCHOOLS
PEI Pickleball ÎPÉ has been providing Pickleball Coaches to schools across Prince Edward Island to introduce the students to the sport of Pickleball.
This is offered in the Physical Education class and is made possible by a grant from Amateur Sport, Division of Sport, Recreation, and Physical Activity. The response from the schools has been great, and the Children love it. The Phys Ed Teachers have been most welcoming. Over 1000 children have been introduced to the sport.
Thank you to the Pickleball Coaches who have assisted in conducting this program.
