PEI Pickleball ÎPÉ

NEWS

Pickleball Intermediate Training has been conducted by Certified Island Coaches in a number of communities across PEI.  Cornwall had training sessions on March 2, 9, and 16. These two hour sessions are sponsored by PEI PICKLEBALL IPE and a grant from PEI Department of Fisheries, Tourism, Sport and Culture  In the community of Souris on May 4, there were Pickleball players increasing their skills by attending the session at Souris Regional High School.  On the same day Kensington Intermediate Regional Senior High School had 2 two hour sessions offered to participants there.  By survey reports of those taking the course, it has been very beneficial.  The participants have to preregister for the sessions, and they fill up very quickly. The same four skills are offered in each of the sessions to date.  The goal is to offer the Training in other communities on PEI.

PEI Pickleball ÎPÉ held their first Annual General Meeting on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Milton Community Hall.  The Board of Directors were voted in.  See list of Directors on home page.  Also, the PEI Pickleball IPE bylaws were passed.  As a active member of Pickleball Canada and PEI Pickleball IPE, you are encouraged to attend the annual meetings each year and vote for the Board of Directors and any bylaw changes.
