We had another great season of outdoor Pickleball and to mark the occasion, we had a Halloween End of Season Event on Saturday October 26th that was FREE for ALL members. It was a great day with amazing costumes, great snacks and treats, fun games and prizes for winners of the best Halloween costume, guess the weight of a Pumpkin, guess the number of candies in a jar as well as awards for the ladder play.

MPC is pleased to welcome welcome Physio for Surgery to our Members Benefits page!
Physio for Surgery (physioforsurgery.ca), voted Markhams best physiotherapy and massage therapy clinic in 2023 is offering MPC members a one hour initial assessment and treatment for $95 (discounted from a regular fee of $150). Call 647-799-0966 to book your appointment; have your membership number handy.
What an incredible 2 days of pickleball at our 2nd Annual Pickleball for Possibilities event! Day 1 featured 2 sessions of fun play where teams were created based on a randomly allocated colour wristband. Teams consisted of mixed level players, familiar and/or new faces. We topped off the day with an engaging 2 hour coaching clinic where participants rotated between courts to learn and refine their pickleball skills.
Day 2 featured our Competitive Team Charity Tournament, which was described as fierce, playful, and full of great teamwork and fun. No matter how you describe it, the most important thing is that we all came together for very worthwhile causes.
We hope everyone who participated had a fantastic time with their team members, enjoyed competing with friends and foes 😜, and made lots of new friends along the way!
While our professional accountants are still tallying up the final numbers, the word on the street is that we've raised over $20,000 for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Centre and the Markham Food Bank! Thank you to everyone for your support!
Congratulations to all our tournament team winners!
Check out all the fantastic photos on our Instagram and Facebook sites.
Special thanks to our volunteers, Sponsors and Donors that made this event possible!
We are grateful to 247 Athletic/ SPKTR, Aethos, F45 Training Markville, IPZU Wellness Center, MNP, NXTgen, Racquet Guys, Sun Life, Sylvia Morris Realtor, Village Grocer, Watson’s Glen Golf Course and many more that donated to our raffle draws and silent auction.

MPC Outdoor courts is open daily, 7 days a week. However, during club hours (shown below), ONLY MPC season pass members and Daily Pass holders can play on the courts. Members that have paid the Outdoor Court fee will be given a shoe tag that must be worn at all times and will be emailed a confidential gate code to access the courts. Here’s the schedule for club hours this year. We continue to share the courts with the public on a 50-50 basis. We are eliminating the Advanced Play Monday evenings and will instead divide the courts between recreational and competitive play. The number of courts will be determined by the court host. Courts will be shared on Monday and Wednesday afternoons with MPC members on Courts 1-4 and the public on Courts 5-8.
You can also download a photo of this schedule here.

Court hosts will be available for all club hours except in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. They are responsible for welcoming new players, monitoring for shoe tags and organizing play.
