Grab your paddles and join us as we celebrate National Pickleball Day on Saturday, August 8, 2026! We’ve planned a full day of activities for players of all skill levels, and we need your help introducing new people to the game.

The Dinking Tournament and Team Play Tournament are designed for fun, balanced competition. Simply register as an individual, and our event organizers will create the teams. Prizes will be awarded in both tournaments.
Invite Someone New to Pickleball!
Do you have a friend, family member, neighbour, or co-worker who’s been curious about pickleball? National Pickleball Day is the perfect opportunity to introduce them to Canada’s fastest-growing sport!
Our FREE Learn to Play Pickleball session runs from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is designed for people with little to no previous pickleball experience. Our experienced instructors and volunteers will teach the fundamentals of the game in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.

4030 – 117 Street NW, Edmonton
No equipment? No problem! We’ll provide paddles, balls, and everything needed to get started. Participants simply need to wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.

Space is limited. Those interested in attending the Learn to Play session should reserve a spot by emailing president@edmontonpickleballclub.org.
Registration
Registration for all National Pickleball Day club activities opens Sunday, August 2, at 6:00 PM.
Please log in to CourtReserve and reserve your spot as soon as registration opens. Spaces are limited and are expected to fill quickly.
Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for volunteers to help make National Pickleball Day a success. If you’d like to lend a hand, please sign up to volunteer and email social@edmontonpickleballclub.org.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Join us for a day of learning, friendly competition, prizes, refreshments, and plenty of fun on the courts. We look forward to welcoming both our members and many new faces to the Edmonton Pickleball Club as we celebrate National Pickleball Day together!

Congratulations to all of our event winners and a big thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success. Despite an unexpected hail storm, everyone took it in stride and enjoyed a fun day of great pickleball and friendly competition.
