Code of Conduct & Club Values

All members of Markham Pickleball Club agree to play the game with the utmost respect and consideration for other players, visitors, and the environment.

Specifically, members of Markham Pickleball Club agree to:

  1. Exhibit good sportsmanship and encourage others to do the same.
  2. Behave in a manner that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of others.
  3. Use language and actions that are positive, encouraging, and supportive — both on and off the courts.
  4. Exhibit fairness and honesty in all dealings with others.
  5. Be a positive role model for others learning the game.
  6. Take an active role as an ambassador for Markham Pickleball in promoting the game as a fun activity for all ages.
  7. Follow our club rules.
  8. Treat all visitors, guests, and members of the public with courtesy and respect. When communicating club policies or court rules to others, do so in a calm, clear, and respectful manner.

Enforcement

Members who do not uphold this Code of Conduct may have their membership reviewed by the Board of Directors. The club is committed to addressing concerns fairly and promptly.
