Happy Holidays!
The Board of Directors and Committees of Pickleball Regina thanks everyone for your support during 2024. This has been a year of successes with the Provincial tournament, outdoor summer program registration, reaching 1200 members, new courts opening at Douglas Park and the re-start of a youth pickleball program.
We wish everyone the very best of the festive season and look forward to 2025 with great anticipation of an even better year for pickleball in Regina.
Pickleball Regina - 2024 Annual General Meeting:
Members gathered virtually on November 6th to hear updates from the Board about operations, financial performance, reappointed MNP as our audit review resource. New directors, John Fraser, Kristen Tam, Terry Haas-Pasloski joined incumbents Ray Greenwood and Steven Sagal.
We thank Colin McAllister, Tony Coppola and Stanley Head for their contributions over the past year.

2025 Winter Programs:
PRI will host programs for members at the QCPH starting Jan 2, 2025 - details coming soon. As usual, hosts are needed to ensure programs succeed - please contact Marilyn Picard at 306-536-9442 to express your interest.
Membership Renewals:
All memberships expire on December 31st each year. To join or renew your PRI membership you can log in to your account on www.pickleballcanada.org to renew now OR email membership@pickleballregina.ca to have a direct renewal link emailed to you. With all PRI programs, your PRI membership is required to register in these programs.
Renewing with PRI provides members with organized programming both indoors (year-round) and outdoors (May-Sept) as well as a variety of benefits.
Regina Minor Pickleball League:
Pickleball Regina has agreed to provide both funding and support to the re-start of youth pickleball in Regina. The goal is to establish a group of young players and grow the sport into a league in the City as well as across Saskatchewan.
With leadership from Les Covey and Don McLean, the program was piloted in 2024 and is being launched in 2025 with two different sessions (skill development or introduction to competitive play) for eager youth 10 years and older.
If you have family, friends or neighbours that might have kids interested to learn to play, click HERE for a poster to circulate, drop off at school. Programs begin on January 12, 2024.
New Members - Learn to Play Continues:
Pickleball Regina Inc. offers a one-time two-hour introductory Learn to Play Pickleball session for new members. Loaner paddles, balls, and protective eyewear (if needed) will be provided. The cost is $18.00 plus service fees to cover court rental at the Queen City Pickleball Hub. For more information, contact training@pickleballregina.ca.
Welcome Back – Queen City Pickleball Hub:
After being closed for the Canadian Western Agribition, the Queen City Pickleball Hub expects to be open by December 20, 2024. There have been changes to hours, court rental prices, booking courts and registering for programs, plus the various packages available for play. Check out the changes at QCPH.
