What is the cost for Markham Pickleball Club's (MPC) BASIC annual membership?
MPC's BASIC annual membership fee is $35. This fee is included in each of the membership tiers mentioned above. As MPC is an affiliate club, MPC Members must also pay annual membership fees to Pickleball Ontario ($10) and Pickleball Canada ($10), unless you have already paid these fees.
Does MPC Membership include Outdoor Court access?
Yes — outdoor court access is included with all MPC memberships, but the level of access varies by membership tier.
Bronze Membership
Outdoor court access is available via daily pass purchase
2026 bonus: Option to play in club hours on weekdays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Silver Membership
Outdoor court access on weekdays 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2026 bonus: Option to play in club hours on weekends 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Gold Membership
Full access to outdoor courts during club hours with unlimited play.
What are the benefits of MPC Basic Membership?

Here are some additional details:
Daily Pass: MPC Bronze members can purchase a discounted pass for Weekday court play during prime club hours. Cap of 10 members per day.
Special Club Events: Invitations to club events where you can connect with fellow pickleball enthusiasts.
Discounts on Clinics: Reduced fees for pickleball clinics led by our fantastic coaches.
Arranged Indoor Play: We arrange discounted play for MPC members at indoor courts during the winter and spring months.
Vendor Discounts: Some vendors offer special discounts exclusively to our club members.
Annual Renewal Discount: Each December, we provide a discounted membership renewal until December 31st 11:59 p.m.

Supporting Our Pickleball Community
MPC is a not-for-profit organization, and all fees help cover both short-term and long-term club expenses. While the courts will remain open for free public play for approximately 8 hours per day, we believe the value of MPC membership, community engagement, and exclusive benefits makes your investment worthwhile.

Outside of MPC, play is still possible! The Cornell Park courts are available to everyone, including members, during public hours. There are also tennis courts across the City that have been lined for pickleball. Information is available on the City of Markham website.

Does MPC offer lessons? How do I sign up?
We are currently offering clinics for both members and public. However, we prioritize our members for registration. For information on the upcoming clinics/offerings, refer to Latest News on our main page. Click here for information on our clinics.
Sessions will be adjusted according to demand and scheduling will reflect the impact of statutory holidays on member participation. Minimum registration requirements are different depending on the clinic offered and are posted in the registration link.

Does MPC have different rates for different groups?
